nude? Is that not a form of gender exploitation?
Teacher: Thanks for noticing! If a woman cannot be
painted in the nude, she is not presentable! I would
call painting someone's 80 years old mom an impossible
task! One simply cannot deal with the unsightly! For this
artist it is an insult to clothe beautiful women!
Painting to a true artist, like breathing, is a
function of being alive. The particular likes and
dislikes in any individual artist are unique. Forcing some
social agendas down the artist's throat-- or using art as a tool
of propaganda to illustrate thinking is wrong!
Yes, that is what Mao and Hitler did. And this little
flea out of a pile of elephant dung called Stalin had
turned the entire Russian art into one huge propaganda
machine!Even today,the ghosts of Communism and
Existentialism are still haunting the living. That is
what THINKING in general would get you!
"Isms" are thinking. Realism, Cubism, Postmodernism,
Impressionism, Pop Art and so forth are the death
stars to art!
The SACRED is unthinkable-- neither is
there a path leading to it.
